Labour MSP charging us for her meals and refreshments

I have to congratulate the3towns.com on revealing the actions of Labour MSP Margaret McDougall.

She should be ashamed of herself. She gets paid £58.000 a year but she charges her evening meals and refreshments to us suckers, the taxpayers! What an freeloading sponger!

The fact this is allowed is just wrong. The Scottish Parliament should put a stop to it. Of course just because it is allowed doesn't mean you have to do it. But this woman already has form on this kind of thing. She claimed for attending armistice parades. What a disgrace!

I hope the Scottish Parliament also investigates her use of the office in Irvine.

I've just reealised this woman is supposedly one of my MSPs. Who voted for her? I certainly didn't!

One Thousand Pounds a Week plus and she can't buy the tea and coffee
I keep wondering, is there not a tax liability attached to such expenses? there used to be?
Two other points,
If she advertised herself? That is NOT within her remit, and should be down to her personally or her party.What advertising would meet the precept of MSP business?
Second, tell me the taxpayer didn't pay for a Johann Krankie outing to open the place?

Nobody voted for Margaret McDougall, she didn't stand anywhere, she was elected from Labour's list. It's people like her that have got politics a bad name.

She should resign now that she has been exposed for bleeding the taxpayers. She is a disgrace.
