The press release quotes North Ayrshire & Arran Labour MP Katy Clark saying, “I am very disappointed that the ‘Yes’ campaign are making promises about the benefits which local oil revenues will bring to the people of Ardrossan when the reality is that there is no substantial evidence that sufficient quantities of oil actually exist in the area. To raise false hopes in this way is deeply irresponsible and completely unacceptable.”
Once again Labour lies or at least misrepresent , Just where is the promise alleged in that statement ? It doesn't exist, what was said and I para phrase was "there may be etc etc" that does not constitute a promise
Yet someone else confuses YES for the SNP, in this case it was the SNP administration not YES
Scottish Energy Minister Fergus Ewing said " the region could give the industry longevity beyond 2050."

Energy minister Fergus Ewing said: "Stimulating oil and gas activity to the west of Scotland could create employment and further increase the longevity of the industry in the country.
"Any activity will be supported by Scotland’s world-class indigenous supply chain with 40 years of experience in the North Sea."
So what promise?
To clarify when the original explorations were going on the oil was found to the west of Campbeltown as well , in the 25 years the mining process has advanced including the extraction process for greater yield
These explorations were only 20 off , a vast amount of basins were NOT explored
In regard to the MoD hindering ,exportation remember that in that period Dunoon had a large US naval presence , and I'm quite sure US submarines were being facilitated at Faslane
And of course Westminster will be the US's Poodle , "Just how high will I jump, Sir"
